Mission: To provide ethical, cost-effective care to children, families and individuals in need by facilitating self-sufficiency through the enhancement of self-esteem, skill development and interpersonal relationships.
Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan is a non-profit organization that cares for troubled children and families. Teaching Family Homes was brought to Upper Michigan in 1981 to help troubled children and families in the region. Our private, non-profit organization began as a single residential group home serving just six children.
What We Do
Residential treatment group homes and in-home programs working with at-risk youth and families.
