Marquette 4th of July Parade 2022

 Together- A New Beginning

The Parade will be held on Monday, July 4th and is set to start at 2pm. Line-up time for floats is at 1pm, but is subject to change. The 2022 themes are 'Together- A New Beginning' and 'The first 4th of July Parade in Marquette', to commemorate a fresh start while paying homage to the past. We can't wait to see you there for a day of unity and of celebration!

Fireworks!

(Marquette Fireworks Committee)

Assist pyrotechnicians with moving racks from storage yard to Lower Harbor to the tip of the Ore Dock and back via barge.

Work includes loading a truck with racks and tubes from the storage yard in Skandia (transportation from Lower Harbor provided ) on July 1 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The big set up day includes unloading the truck, as well as assisting the US Coast Guard and Great Lakes Fireworks pyrotechnicians with transporting the racks and explosives out to the end of the Ore Dock via a barge.

On July 5 (July 6 if we have to delay the show a day for rain) the wiring at the Ore Dock is disposed of, the racks are loaded back on to the barge and returned to the storage yard. This is done from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
