U.P. Home Health & Hospice is offering a volunteer information session along with refreshments and a chance to win a gift basket. The public is invited to attend this FREE event and learn more about the ways in which hospice patients benefit from volunteers of many ages and abilities. Volunteers play a vital role in the care provided to patients and includes clinical and non-clinical opportunities. Leslie Parkkonen, Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator, will discuss U.P. Home Health & Hospice’s volunteer opportunities, for those who wish to volunteer directly with patients, as well as project specific volunteer opportunities.
