Adopt-a-Family 2025 – Bring Holiday Joy to a Family in Need!

Adopt-a-Family is back!
The Lake Superior Village Youth & Family Center is once again spreading holiday cheer through our Adopt-a-Family Program, helping local families experience the magic of Christmas!

We’re inviting families, individuals, organizations, churches, and businesses to “adopt” a local family in need this holiday season. With your help, we can make sure every child wakes up to joy and love on Christmas morning.

How It Works

Choose a family to adopt by Friday, December 12th.
Each family is assigned a unique code, allowing us to match your gifts accurately.
Please do not wrap presents; instead, attach a tag or note with the family code to each item or bag.

Shop for thoughtful gifts for each family member—or make a monetary donation to the Youth & Family Center, and we’ll do the shopping for you!
We gladly accept gift cards, cash, or PayPal donations (please designate the family code when donating).

Please return all gifts to the Youth & Family Center at 1901 Longyear Ave, Marquette, by Monday, December 15th.  Please call to arrange a time to drop off the gifts.
Families will receive their gifts during our Gift Giving Day Celebration on Friday, December 19th!

Food Donations

We’re also collecting food items to help families enjoy a full, festive meal.
If you plan to donate perishable items, please call us in advance so we can arrange for proper freezer or storage space before delivery.
