Fireworks Set Up

Ever wondering what goes into setting up a fireworks display? Get a behind the scenes look by helping move racks during set up! This is the big set up day. Activities includes unloading the truck, and assisting Pete Frazier and the Great Lakes Fireworks pyrotechnicians with transporting the racks and fireworks shells out to the end of the Ore Dock via a barge. Note that this opportunity may end early, as a pyrotechnician license is needed to be on the dock once the boxes of shells are opened. Volunteers must be 18+ and able to lift 30+ lbs repetitively.
