Ages 12+ are invited to join us on Sunday August 10th 9AM-4PM (drop in) to help construct a greenhouse in the Ishpeming Middle School Garden! The exciting addition of this structure will help us increase our outdoor learning and growing season for Ishpeming Middle Schoolers in the Farm to School program and we can't wait to unveil it to the students in the fall!
Where: Ishpeming Middle School Garden | 111 S Third St. Ishpeming MI (located directly across from Ishpeming Middle/High School on Pearl St. in Ishpeming)
Activities include but are not limited to: Constructing parts of the greenhouse, building the greenhouse, various tasks like weeding the area will be available for younger volunteers who'd like to be involved!
What to bring:
- Dress for outdoor work with closed toe shoes and dress for the weather.
- Water bottle & snack
- Work gloves
- Sunscreen/hat
- Optional: screwdriver, pliers, monkey wrench

If the August 10th volunteer day is canceled due to weather/rain volunteers will be alerted via email.
