Volunteer Opportunities From: United Way of Marquette County/ Yoopers United

We’re looking for volunteers who would be willing to help feed a group of AmeriCorps members spending some time with us. These members will be gaining hands-on experience alongside our construction crews, learning valuable skills like framing walls, siding, drywall, painting, flooring, roofing, installing windows and doors, and even landscaping.

Your support helps keep them fueled and focused as they build both skills and confidence—while helping us build homes and hope in our community.

Approximately 12 lunches needed daily. 

Help our Construction Team with new home construction builds! We have ongoing work with our home construction projects. Our crews handle a variety of construction tasks, including framing walls, decking, siding, drywall, painting, flooring, roofing, installing windows and doors, and landscaping. All volunteers are required to do a safety training and complete a volunteer application before coming to the work site. This training must be done on a computer - phones do not work.

The Marquette County Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Harvey is looking for one or two fun, motivated individuals to help spruce up our wonderfully donated items before they hit the sales floor. Just a few days a week and a couple of hours a day — easy, flexible, and FUN!
