Who We Are

Mission: To provide hope, help, and healing for child survivors of physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and human trafficking in Marquette County, Michigan.

As the only child advocacy center in Marquette County, NLCAC plays a crucial role in supporting child survivors and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to heal and seek justice.

What We Do

  • Safe and Empowering Space: NLCAC offers a safe, welcoming environment for children and teens to share their experiences in cases of suspected abuse and neglect.
  • Collaborative Approach: The center partners with law enforcement, child protective services, and other justice-related and medical professionals to ensure that investigations prioritize child safety and provide families with tools to heal and move forward.
  • Comprehensive Services: NLCAC provides a range of services, including case management, referrals to community partners, court preparation, and prevention education, all at no cost to families.
