Who We Are

Mission: To provide support for local and global humanitarian initiatives, including efforts to prevent blindness, support the hearing impaired, alleviate hunger, and address environmental issues.

Marquette Lions Club is a service organization, located in Marquette, Michigan, committed to serving the Marquette community and the greater Upper Peninsula through its volunteer and philanthropic efforts. We support local causes with the following missions including diabetes, vision, hunger, environment, and pediatric cancer. Chartered in 1919, Marquette Lions Club is the oldest club in Michigan. Marquette Lions Club is part of Lions International.

What We Do

The Marquette MI Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, focusing on various community service projects aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents. Some of their key initiatives include:

  1. Sight and Hearing Support: They are committed to programs that prevent blindness, such as providing eyeglasses to those in need and supporting eye health initiatives​.
