SAIL is hosting it's annual Battle of the Boards Fundraiser- Tickets available
The Battle of the Boards Cornhole Tournament will be on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at the SAIL office (1200 Wright St. Marquette, MI). We will host 36 teams (2 persons per team) in a double elimination tournament playing the fun “backyard” style game of cornhole. Spectators are welcomed to attend as well!
All proceeds from this tournament will go into one of two SAIL Programs. The first is our UP Vets Served Program. UP Vets Served is a health and wellness program that hosts events around the beautiful U.P. to foster camaraderie in a welcoming and engaging environment for veterans and military families. All wellness events are at no cost to participants due to the generous donations of our community.
The second program benefiting from this fundraiser will be our Sled Hockey U.P. Sled hockey provides opportunity for many types of disabilities and there are opportunities available in local areas for recreation/competition all the way to the National Sled Team that plays in the Paralympics. Sled hockey is rapidly growing in the US and players are “hooked” once they touch the ice the first time. Thank you for giving back to those who have given so much for us.
