on NMU Campus - Marquette, MI

Volunteers are needed to help with various duties once the mobile pantry arrives, such as, setting up tables, packing bags/boxes, loading food into vehicles, registering clients, parking lot detail and any other need that may arise. Shifts are generally from 11:00am to 2:00pm, but can vary based on community need.

Rest rooms are available and masks, gloves, sanitizing items and vests are all provided.

Please dress appropriately for weather conditions, as all events are held outdoors. Bring a beverage and snack, if you like.

Food distribution is a physical activity that can involve bending, lifting, and twisting. If you would like to volunteer but have existing neck or back issues, please notify a UPHCS leader on site, to identify tasks that may be more safe for you.
