At the Janzen House we always try to provide residents with basic daily items. This helps them (and us) stretch out finances. To that end we always provide coffee, (and salt, pepper, ketchup etc.). Any one in the community who is interested can drop any "staple" items off on our porch. If you would like a call back please tape a name and number. Paper products: include toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, cups and plates. With COVID-19 and for the safety of all the residents they have been using single use items for meals.
Disinfectants and cleaners: We would use any cleaner (disinfectant, dishsoap, glass cleaner, etc.)(
Personal Items: body wash, shampoo and disposable shavers.
Food: packaged Mac and Cheese
CONTACTLESS DONATION:
Donations can be delivered to Janzen House, located at 146 W Spring Street. There will be a donation box on the porch so that you can drop off without contact.
Donations can also be dropped off at the United Way office located at 1414 W Fair Avenue suite 26. A mask is required to enter the medical center.
